Genshin Impact Version 1.3 Update Coming February 3

The latest update to Genshin Impact, MiHoYo announced today that “All That Glitters” will launch on February 3, 2021.

This update will bring with it one of Liyue’s oldest traditions — the Lantern Rite. Set during the first full moon of the year, Liyue’s rich history and culture will be on full display, and Travelers will be able to stock up on resources for future adventures. Food stalls and festive activities exclusive to the Lantern Rite will make their appearance, including the tower defense strategy game Theater Mechanicus.

The new 5-star playable character Xiao will also be available. This Vigilant Yaksha wields a polearm and the power of Anemo, packing an elemental burst that grants him increased damage at the cost of draining health.

Finally, players will be able to claim 10 free Intertwined Fates via a daily login event and obtain over 1,600 Primogems. Plenty of resources, including the Crown of Insight, can also be yours by completing festive events. Travelers will also have a chance to choose one free 4-star character from Liyue to add to their party.
