Genshin Impact Version 2.0 Update Coming July 21

The first massive expansion for miHoYo’s Genshin Impact is slated to release on July 21, 2021.

Dubbed “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia,” version 2.0 will feature the Inazuma region. Located across the sea and consisting of six main islands, it is ruled by the ElectroArchon and has different cultures, creatures, and mysteries. Kamisato Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu will also be included as playable characters. The Pyro Hypostasis ability and the Perpetual Mechanical Array boss will also be included.

This update brings with it cross-save functionality between the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Android, and iOS versions. Refined character shading, Haptic Feedback support for the PlayStation5 DualSense Controller, and more feature optimizations will be implemented as well.
