Genshin Impact Version 2.5 Launching February 16

Version 2.5 of miHoYo’s Genshin Impact, dubbed “When the Sakura Bloom,” will launch on February 16.

The new seasonal event as part of this update, “Three Realms Gateway Offering,” will feature an area based on Enkanomiya. Haunted by unknown darkness, players will continuously accumulate corrosive darkness. However, a gadget known as the Bokuso Box can resist this blight, help players gain new abilities, and take down select monsters. One will also be able to open up chests, unlock Waypoints, and complete exploration objectives to level this strange device up. Note that this event will last the entire duration of Version 2.5.

Also coming as part of Version 2.5 is the “Divine Ingenuity” event, which will give players the chance to create their own domain with terrain, mechanisms, traps, buffs and completion criteria. One will also be able to try out other players’ domain designs.

Finally, Yae Miko will join as a new five-star character, story quests for the Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko will make their appearance, and a new Trounce Domain with its own opponent and enemies will be included.
