Ghost of Tsushima Gets Launch Trailer

Players will be able to wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima when Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sucker Punch Productions’ Ghost of Tsushima launches for the PlayStation 4 this Friday. Get ready with the launch trailer for the title.

Set in the late 13th century, Tsushima Island is the last bastion between mainland Japan and a Mongol invasion fleet led by Khotun Khan. As the island burns, samurai warrior Jin Sakai must do whatever he can to reclaim his home and protect his people. In order to do so, he forges a new path known as the path of the Ghost.

An open-world action adventure, Jin will roam expansive swaths of terrain and vast countrysides as he encounters rich characters, discovers ancient landmarks, and uncovers the beauty of Tsushima.

Ghost of Tsushima will feature an adaptive landscape and an organic approach to combat. According to the development team, this will serve as the perfect playground for mixing and matching weapons, skills, and tactics. Jin can also develop stealth and deception tactics in order to disorient and ambush a variety of enemies with different surprise attacks.
