Guilty Gear -Strive- Open Beta Test #2 Coming May 13


Get ready to rock when the second Open Beta Test comes to Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear -Strive- on May 13, 2021.

The Open Beta will feature the Versus, Tutorial, Training, and Network modes. Character-wise, Anji and I-NO will be playable, alongside all characters from the initial roster. English voiceovers will also be used.

Note that those who have the previous Open Beta Test client will have it updated to the Open Beta Test #2 client. Cross-play between the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will also be available. The beta test will be available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 from May 13 at 8pm PT to May 16 at 7:59am PT.

Created by Daisuke Ishiwatari, Guilty Gear -Strive- will feature hybrid 2D/3D cell-shaded graphics. It has been described as a “complete reconstruction of the franchise.” For those who’d like to see this game in action, be sure to scope out the trailer below for the playable character I-NO:

The full release of the game will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on June 11, 2021.
