Huge Changes For Warhaven Confirmed – Release Date Announced

Gamescom’s Opening Night Live kicked off in true epic fashion last night with a flurry of exciting announcements, reveals, and invasions. Nexon, a leading publisher of free-to-play titles, confirmed the upcoming Early Access launch of its epic 12 vs. 12 fantasy brawler, Warhaven, alongside a number of huge changes from the previous beta event.

One of the standout elements of Warhaven is the Immortals system. Previously, players could earn combat points by defeating enemies and taking objectives. These points could then be spent to become an Immortal, incredibly powerful characters that can turn the tide of the battle. Think of becoming Vader or Luke in Battlefront. One of the most exciting changes to this system will allow even more players to unlock this powerful feature as with the Early Access release, all players will have this ability, once per battle. Additionally, squad sizes will be reduced from 4 to 3, changing the total player count to 12 vs. 12, where previously it was 16 vs. 16.
