Humankind Gets Civics & Ideologies Feature

Learn more about the Civics & Ideologies that make up AMPLITUDE Studios and SEGA’s Humankind with the latest feature for the game.

In this historical strategy game, each Civics decision will have a direct impact on gameplay, and will help position the player along four different ideological axes: geopolitics, economy, government, and society. These axes will represent both the societal structure and the values in its game world.

Note that civics decisions will trigger through game situations, so that they make sense in context. These decisions will have a direct impact on gameplay, one that will last throughout the game. Narrative events, which are based on real historical situations, will also present additional choices that will help shape your ideologies.
