Humankind Gets Composing the Music Featurette

Discover the work and thinking that went into the creation of the Humankind soundtrack with the latest trailer for the game.

Recorded with a live orchestra, choir, and instruments that come from around the world, composer Arnaud Roy has grand plans to take players on a voyage through time.

More than 60 different cultures are represented in this title, and the soundtrack is made up of eight hours of music, 90 minutes of live orchestra and choir, and 10 soloists and experts in traditional music. Instruments used include a Baroque string trio, the Chinese Guzheng harp, a Mesoamerican flute, and a variety of Medieval wind instruments.
