Immortals of Aveum Now Supports FSR3 Upscaling Technology
As part of PC patch 1.0.5.0, Ascendant Studios and EA’s Immortals of Aveum now supports FSR 3.
AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3) recently launched, and this update is now available to all PC players in-game.
Not too sure what it is? This technology temporal upscaling and frame generation to help deliver a better performance overall. A new “NativeAA” quality mode option has also been included to Immortals of Aveum; this does not apply upscaling, but it does apply high-quality anti-aliasing and sharpening.
Note that frame generation is enabled separately from upscaling. For the best experience, be sure to use this technology on AMD Radeon™ RX 5000 Series and higher, NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 20 Series and higher, or Intel® Arc™ 7 Series and higher GPUs. Don’t quite meet those specs? Upscaling is still available for those using GPUs that are a bit weaker.
Other changes as part of this Immortals of Aveum patch include the PC mouse “invert” setting now correctly applying when set to on. Note that the addressed rare issue where the Return to Seren level would appear blurry when DLSS is set to Ultra performance has been fixed as well. Finally, a rare issue on the PC version where the background graphics would not appear on game launch has been fixed.
Finally, when it comes to miscellaneous fixes, crashes and various progression blockers have been addressed throughout; these include issues with both enemy respawns and waypoint markers. Minor visual bugs have been treated, alongside minor text and UI fixes.
