Insurmountable Version 2.0 Launching April 14

Players will be able to climb that mountain once more when ByteRockers’ Games and Daedalic Entertainment’s Insurmountable Version 2.0 launches on April 14.

In this title, players choose from one of three different climbers as they keep an eye on their vitals. As players make sure they don’t drop into the critical range, players must contend with a dynamic weather system, day/night cycles and randomly generated events.

As part of the 2.0 update, players will now be able to complete the three mountains as “main missions” plus 10 to 12 “side missions.” Things are different this time, as one is able to return to base after every single one – without the now mission-specific items and levels.

Note that each mission carries rewards that strengthen the climber for the whole run. While at the base, one can permanently upgrade their character, choose the next mission, and plan accordingly.
