Koei Tecmo has shared more details regarding Dynasty Warriors 9’s new battle system.
Skirmishes, clashes, special side missions, and larger scale conflicts are all available to the player. Battles range from scouting missions to uncover powerful enemy officers, guerilla missions to subdue messengers and scouts, and enemy sabotage on troops. Successfully completing these missions offer rewards and will have an effect on future battles’ difficulty.
New to the game are Man Chong and Zhou Cang. Man is a brilliant general, skilled debater, and an excellent tactician from the kingdom of Wei, while Zhou is known for his stamina and speed. The company also announced that they are releasing new costume designs for Sun Shangxiang, Lu Xun, and Lu Bu.
The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.
