Ion Fury: Aftershock Now Available

An expansion pack for 3D Realms and Fulqrum Publishing’s game, Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison’s explosive adventure Ion Fury: Aftershock is now available.

Revealed during Realms Deep 2023, Ion Fury: Aftershock takes place after the events of Ion Fury. After an explosion interrupts her time at the local watering hole, the protagonist Shelly grabs a bag of guns and a Roadripper quad hover bike to defeat the nefarious Dr. Hesksel.

Featuring old-school FPS action, this title features more than half of the content included in the original game. Included are new bosses, new power-ups and secrets, and an expanded arsenal that introduces three new weapons.

In the case of the latter, the Cluster Shot unleashes bouncing pellets that rip enemies apart as they explode. Meanwhile, Lob Gas Grenades can choke foes with noxious fumes. There are also power-ups like the Agility Surge to slow down time.

Not only does Ion Fury: Aftershock now feature an ultra hard difficulty level, its Arrange Mode incorporates remixed enemies and weapons.
