Square-Enix and Avalanche Software have released the first five videos in their “Just Cause 4 Making Of” series.

The first one talks about the Apex Engine, which was built from the ground up to enable the development team to create the most dynamic instalment of the Just Cause series.

The second one explains how the protagonist Rico will work through and with the elements of tornadoes, sandstorms and torrential rain.

The fourth video takes a look at how the development team has redefined Rico, and how he has more depth and complexity.

The fifth and final video takes a look at how the development team created 500 years of backstory to inspire the world design and narrative.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in December.
