Keiji Inafune Leaves Capcom

Keiji Inafune announced on his blog earlier this week that he would be leaving Capcom. He will be leaving both his positions as Head of R&D Management Group and Consumer Games R&D Division and Contents Management Division. Keiji Inafune has worked with Capcom for 23 years and has done some amazing things for the company.

He is most notably recognized as the character designer for Megaman and the producer of the Dead Rising series. If that was all he did it would not be worth much of a mention but this guy is a video game legend and has worked on tons of Capcom games over the years. The Megaman series, the Dead Rising series, Resident evil 2, 4 and 5 and the Lost Planet series are just a few of the games he has had a hand in making.

Regardless of what happens next for Inafune-san we wish him the best here at Gamersheroes and hope that his next projects are just as good as his last ones.
