Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 Now Available

The team at Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. has announced that the tactical espionage action of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is now available for PC and consoles.

Included in this collection are the titles Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Also included is Metal Gear (NES/FC version), Snake’s Revenge, Metal Gear, and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.

Videos, digital books, and artwork will also make their appearance, including a new Mini Gear Shorts – Total Sabotage Action anime video. All those interested about this bonus content can learn more on the official Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 website.

Originally released for the PlayStation 1, Metal Gear Solid follows soldier Solid Snake as he travels to Shadow Moses to stop the renegade special forces unit FOXHOUND.

Released later for the PlayStation 2, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty transports players to Big Shell, which has been taken over by the Sons of Liberty terrorist group.

Finally, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, originally released in 2004, tells the story of Naked Snake and features a 1960s Soviet jungle setting.

The collection is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The main trilogy can also be purchased as stand-alone digital titles apart from the collection.
