SNK has announced that Metal Slug XX will make its way to the PlayStation 4 on May 29.

Metal Slug XX is an updated version of Metal Slug 7, which came out for the Nintendo DS in 2008. In the game, the evil Morden gets some unexpected help when a time portal opens up, and high-tech soldiers from the future pledge their support.
New to this release are two different kinds of scanlines and trophy support.
