Metroid Dread – Find Your Power – Nintendo Switch

Set after the events of Metroid Fusion, Metroid Fusion keeps the side-scrolling gameplay of previous 2D Metroid games and adds stealth elements into the mix. The title was originally set to release for the Nintendo DS in 2005, but was ultimately cancelled due to the limitations of the handheld system.

According to Producer Yoshio Sakamoto, Metroid Dread will conclude the main Metroid arc that tells of Samus and the parasitic Metroid creatures.

The game will come out for the Nintendo Switch on October 8, 2021.
