Players have been given their first opportunity to sample the upcoming release of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst as Gamescom saw the reveal of an exciting new gameplay trailer that sees Faith begin her rise to become the hero the city so desperately needs. The first-person perspective gives players the opportunity to sample the award-winning fluid movement, combat and power made so popular in the original game.
As the trailer shows Faith begins her journey following her release from a juvenile detention with her long-term mentor Noah welcoming her back into the Runner’s lifestyle. Building trust with Faith has given Noah the faith to give her a dangerous new Runner’s job that sees the heroine break into the Elysium building in deep Downtown district.
