For those looking to give this title a try, the open access period is now underway. This period will give all players the chance to enjoy the title for up to 24 hours every weekend. Note that those who pre-order can receive an additional 24 hours of play.

Originally released in Japanese arcades in 2016, Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Maxiboost On features 2-on-2 PVP combat that pays host to Mobile Suits that span the entire breadth of the franchise’s rich history. This includes 185 playable units from 36 different Gundam iterations, each with unique abilities. Along the way, players can choose between three different EX Burst Systems to suit their temperament: Extend Burst, Fighting Burst, and Shooting Burst.

The game will come out on July 30, 2020 for the PlayStation 4.
