Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Mystery of Malzeno Trailer Released

Today’s Monster Hunter Digital Event had series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and director Yoshitake Suzuki provide fans with the most in-depth look at Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak so far.

Announced today, the Elder Dragon Malzeno has the capacity to bring entire kingdoms down to their knees. This threat commands a swarm of parasitic entities that can capture and absorb the energy of their prey.

When Hunters engage Malzeno in combat, the Elder Dragon attacks are inspired by the vampire It can inflict its prey with the “bloodblight” status, which can cause the life force of their foe to run out. Those that fail to take Malzeno down will see him evolve into an even more terrible form.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak – The Mystery of Malzeno

An expansion for Monster Hunter Rise, the Sunbreak expansion will include an all-new storyline with new monsters, new additions to combat, and the Master Rank quest difficulty. Players can dive in on June 30 on the Nintendo Switch and PC.
