Today’s Monster Hunter Digital Event dropped a wealth of new details regarding Capcom’s upcoming title Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.
Today’s event provided a firsthand look at the Monstie companions, the competing factions, and the story of the title. Players will fill in the shoes of a young Monster Rider that harnesses the power of the Kinship Stone to form bonds with monsters. Along the way, players will meet series veterans Lilia and Reverto, who are looking to capture your companion Razewing Ratha.
The turn-based combat features the Power, Speed and Technical attack types. By mastering each correct weapon type, element, and skill, players will be able to counter incoming attacks. Specific body parts can also be targeted and broken, and Double Attacks can also be used, complete with Kinship attacks.
