Moons of Madness Launching October 22

Ahead of Halloween, Funcom and Rock Pocket Games announced today that Moons of Madness will launch on October 22 for the PC.

In this title, players take control of Chief Engineer Shane Newehart, who is stationed on a research facility on Mars. However, things quickly start going wrong, and players must find a way to get out in one piece. Note that it is set in the same thematic universe as The Secret World, but can be enjoyed as a standalone title.

According to Rock Pocket Games CEO Ivan Moen:

[testimonials user=” email=” name=” position=” photo=”]“We wanted to make a game that combines Lovecraftian elements and Mars exploration, and central to a good Lovecraft experience is the battle that goes on in your own mind. You will face external threats, sure, but having to face your inner demons at the same time is what makes this truly terrifying.”[/testimonials]

Note that the title will launch on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 21, 2020.
