NACON Revolution 5 Pro Controller Shooter Update Released

The team at Nacon announced that their Revolution 5 Pro Controller for PlayStation 5 has gained a Shooter Pro Mode via a new software update.

When the Shooter Pro Mode is enabled on the Revolution 5 Pro Controller, the stick deadzone is completely removed. This helps to improve player responsiveness, precision, and performance for first-person shooter games.

The following new features will be added to the Revolution 5 Pro Controller:

  • Sensitivity + mode: for faster reaction times in a variety of in-game situations by increasing the stick amplitude
  • Magnetic Hall effect on the sticks: for maximum controller durability and highly reduced risk of drift
  • Ultra-fast wireless connectivity + wired mode: includes a 2.4 GHz USB dongle, prevents lag, and provides PS5®/PS4®/PC* compatibility

Known for being a keyboard-and-mouse gamer, French streamer Wisethug said the following after playing Apex Legends using just the Revolution 5 Pro throughout the month of April:

“I love using my Revolution 5 Pro. When I took on the challenge of playing for an entire month using a controller, this was the one that seemed best suited to my playing style. Shooter Pro Mode genuinely gives me an impressive degree of control.”
