Nelke & The Legendary Alchemists Gets New Gameplay Video

Nelke & The Legendary Alchemists - Gamers Heroes
Koei Tecmo and GUST Studios today revealed a number of in-depth details regarding the gameplay featured in Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World.

In this title, Nelke is tasked with venturing out into Westwald’s surrounding lands to find raw materials. She will then send these materials over to one of the town’s alchemists to synthesize into sellable goods. Up to five characters from Atelier’s collection of fan-favorite games can be formed, and each party member will either have an attack or support role. During these investigation segments, players need to be mindful of the Action Gauge. Running through areas too fast will rapidly decrease the gauge, and there is also a risk of missing different items and getting less rewards.

In combat, players will utilize different skills to whittle down the enemy’s HP bar during their time on the Turn Gauge. As different skills are used, the Burst Gauge gradually fills – enabling characters to strike down enemies with a damaging blow, perform a more powerful ability, or use the new power to boost defense. Each character also has their own Drive Gauge, which can be filled from both attacks and the use of the Burst Gauge.
