Sledgehammer Games, developer of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, recently released a new trailer that outlines the different brand new gadgets being added in the game. Glen Schofield, GM and co-founder of Sledgehammer Games, appears in the video to outline some of the new gadgets. Another gadget mentioned is the “Mobile Barricade”, a smart barricade that moves with the player and has a window that drops when the player wants to shoot. On top of this, powerful “directed energy weapons” have been added as well as hover bikes and hover tanks that can go on all terrain, including water.
One of the bigger points in the video is the explanation of the exoskeleton, a powerful suit of armor that gives the player a multitude of different abilities. Some of the abilities include being able to run really fast, jump higher than normal, throw enemies really far or even cloak yourself. The exoskeleton also has special abilities like “Overdrive”, an ability that slows down time.
