Bandai Namco has released a number of new details for their upcoming title Code Vein.
The new assets highlight a new Ivy Blood Veil and the Ridge of Frozen Souls.
Blood Veils allow the player to do powerful blood drain attacks thal make quick work of enemies. They and also regain Ichor, which is needed to perform additional skills, which are also known as Gifts. The new Ivy Blood Veil unleashes a swift attack, which can pierce enemies from afar through thorns that emerge from the ground. Other Blood Veils announced include Hounds, Ogre, and Stinger, which players can switch out.
The Ridge of Frozen Souls is a mountain pass that features limited visibility, narrow ledges, deep snow, and an ice-covered cave. Deep within this area that can quickly move with rocket boosters attached to its back. It can combine its speed with its heavy shield to rush down the player.
The game will come out in 2018.
