A brand new developer diary for PAYDAY 3 was released today, showcasing some of the game’s incredible cosmetic and customization options. During the video the developers discuss the challenges of creating different rarities of masks, building a foundation ruleset to offer continuity as players earn more rare and valuable rewards.

Building up the mask collection was one of our favorite features from PAYDAY 2 and it seems as though the developers have gone all in with the sequel. Tons of different masks, themes, and decorations, there’s a lot on offer just in this short developer diary.
The developers also talk about presets for both weapons and masks, featuring unique patterns or materials on a mask that would otherwise be unavailable on the Black Market.
