Ninja Theory Announces The Insight Project

Designed by the same studio behind Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Ninja Theory has announced The Insight Project to generate strategies to alleviate mental distress.

This particular project serves as a dynamic combination of game design, technology, and clinical neuroscience. This work will be backed up by rigorous scientific principles to ensure its validity and effectiveness, and will also adhere to the strictest standards of data management and ethics.

Co-founder and Creative Director at Ninja Theory Tameem Antoniades has teamed up with Psychiatrist and Professor of Health Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge Paul Fletcher to see how games can go beyond representing mental illness. The goal of the project is to see how video games play a role in promoting mental wellbeing.
