Announced during this morning’s Nintendo Direct Mini, XSEED Games’ cult classics No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle are now available for the Nintendo Switch.
Developed by Grasshopper Manufacture Inc’s SUDA51, these two titles were previously released for the Nintendo Wii in 2008 and 2010. The remastered versions of these two games feature HD textures, improved system font, additional language support, and other tweaks.
No More Heroes stars Travis Touchdown, who fights against the world’s top 10 assassins as the #11 ranked assassin in the United Assassins Association (UAA). To aid in the fight, he has a trusty beam katana and his Schpeltiger motorbike.
The sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, sees Travis falling down the ranks to #51. On a mission to reclaim his #1 position, he teams up with former enemies turned allies Shinobu and Henry Cooldown.
