Paragon: The Overprime Hosting EU/NA PS5 Closed Beta Test

The team at Netmarble has announced the second closed beta test for Paragon: The Overprime on PlayStation 5 for both the North America and Europe regions.

The Closed Beta Test (CBT) will run from December 14 through January 7 in the United States and Europe. All those interested can get themselves a spot by pre-register today on the PARAGON website. Note that access codes will be delivered beginning December 14.

Three new heroes from the PC version will make their appearance in this Closed Beta Test. For those new to the title, Morigesh, Yin, and Marty from the South Korean Virtual Girl group MAVE: (created by Metaverse Entertainment) will be included. MAVE consists of four virtual members (SIU:, ZENA:, TYRA:, and MARTY:) that have been created through a combination of 3D rendering and scanning technology.

Changes made for the upcoming Paragon: The Overprime Closed Beta Test include an alternate D-pad layout that provides a more flexible control method, an auto-purchase feature for in-game items, and improvements to the Dual Sense navigation system.

The first Closed Beta Test for Paragon: The Overprime saw more than 15,000 participants across 60,262 matches. In all, there were an accumulated 164,000 hours; to put that in perspective, that’s equivalent to 1.9 years of playtime.
