Persona 5 Scramble Gets Makoto Niijima Trailer


The Phantom Thief Makoto Niijima steals the spotlight in the latest trailer for Atlus’ Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers.

A third-year student at Shujin Academy, Makoto Niijima (codename “Queen”), Makoto possesses great skills with both knuckledusters and revolvers, and fights with the Persona Johanna.

Persona 5 Scramble takes place approximately six months after 2017’s JRPG Persona 5. The story will follow series protagonist Joker and the other Phantom Thieves in an alternate version of Tokyo that is filled to the brim with supernatural enemies. Both Daisuke Kaneda and Kenichi Ogasawara are taking the production helm for this title.

The game will come out on February 20, 2020 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. A stateside release date has yet to be announced.
