Persona 5 Tactica Second Gameplay Trailer Released

The team at P-Studio and Atlus West have released a second gameplay trailer for Persona 5 Tactica.

Persona 5 Tactica will have players controlling a party of up to three characters that is made up of both the Phantom Thieves of Hearts and the Rebel Corps led by newcomer Erina. Along the way, they’ll navigate a grid-based map and take part in turn-based encounters.

When it comes time to battle these enemy forces, Persona 5 Tactica will give players the chance to approach enemies directly for a close-quarters physical attack. Alternatively, players can also choose an action from the Command menu like “Gun.” True to the series, players can also summon the signature Personas during battle, allowing them to use Skill Points (SP) that tie into different elemental abilities.

Much like the original JRPG, players can also have the protagonist Joker get additional Personas through negotiation and recruiting. Players can also keep track of all of these Personas through the Persona Compendium.

For those who’d like to get a chance to try out this battle system for themselves, this strategy RPG will launch on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Windows and Steam on November 16. Note that those who pre-order can get themselves the Orpheus Picaro and Izanagi Picaro.
