Pokémon Legends: Arceus Gameplay Preview Released

Ahead of its launch later this month, Game Freak, The Pokémon Company, and Nintendo have released a new gameplay preview for Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Players’ adventure will be set in the expansive Hisui region, set in a time long ago when people and Pokémon lived in harmony. Mount Coronet sits squarely in the middle of its world, surrounded by a number of distinct areas with different Pokémon ecosystems. To help themselves out, trainers can also craft healing items, lures, smoke bombs, Poké balls, and more.

Trainers are a part of the Survey Corps, given a mission to catalog and research Pokémon. Professor Laventon will take your findings and add them to the Pokédex. This will increase your rank and also get players funds that can then be used on items and materials.

As players progress in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, they’ll come across noble Pokémon that are in a frenzied state. One must throw balms at these enemies that are based around their favorite foods. One must dodge and aim carefully if one is looking to succeed.
