Pokemon Sword and Shield Gets Japanese TV Spot

Check out the evolution of the Pokemon series leading up to Pokemon Sword and Shield with the latest commercial for Nintendo and Game Freak’s title.

The video, which can be seen below, shows the series’ roots on the original Game Boy. In just 30 seconds, it takes players on a journey through a number of generations of Pokemon critters, ultimately leading to the latest generation.

Pokemon Sword and Shield will take players to the Galar Region, a more modern setting that is inspired by Great Britain and Victorian architecture. After choosing from one of three different Pokemon creatures from Professor Magnolia, players will then face off against a number of different Gym Leaders and set out to compete in the Champions Cup.

Both titles will come out for the Nintendo Switch on November 15.
