Public Demo for Pioneers of Pagonia Now Available

Future pioneers will be able to set off on an adventure with the public demo of Envision Entertainment’s Pioneers of Pagonia, now available on Steam.

Three maps are available in the demo version, allowing players to build and manage a thriving community of thousands. The demo can be played in German, English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and Polish.

According to Volker Wertich, Creative Director at Envision Entertainment:

“The entire team is extremely happy that the first alpha test was so positively received by the community. Many spent dozens of hours on the three maps, enjoying the atmosphere and experimenting with their settlements, even though the content was only meant for three to four hours. On behalf of the entire team, I would like to thank our great community for its constructive feedback, which we have evaluated in detail and is already having an impact on further development. We were able to implement some suggestions directly into the current demo build, while other ideas will be integrated during Early Access.”Volker Wertich

Pioneers of Pagonia will launch into Early Access on December 13, retailing for $29.99. Note that the development of this title was financially supported by the German games fund grant by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection.

Up to its Early Access release Creative Director Volker Wertich and the rest of his team will include extended hotkeys, neutral factions, different enemy types, additional choices in procedural map creation, and trade functionality with other factions.

When it comes to the Q1 2024 release, Pioneers of Pagonia will feature a shared co-op mode, expanded productivity display, subsurface mining, and the fishing hut.

All those interested can wishlist the game on Steam.
