R-Type Final 2 Gets Launch Trailer


To mark its release on PC and consoles, NIS America and Granzella Games have released a launch trailer for their shmup R-Type Final 2.

Featuring 3D graphics and modernized gameplay features, R-Type Final 2 features a performance-based difficulty system and customizable pilots and ships. Dozens of fighters are available, and the coloring, types of weapons, and decals can all be adjusted.

New and classic stages are joined by the trademark “Force” mechanic, and players will be tasked with overcoming enemies that evolve with your performance

The title previously saw a successful Kickstarter, raising ¥98,863,825 in all. This was much higher than their initial goal of ¥45,000,000.

The game is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows 10, and GOG.com.
