Bethesda Softworks announced today that RAGE 2 is on the horizon.
To coincide with this news, the studio has released the following teaser trailer:

A gameplay trailer and more details will come out tomorrow (May 15) at 10am ET.
The original RAGE, which came out in 2011, was a first-person shooter and was the final game released under the supervision of John Carmack. Set in a post-apocalyptic future, players fought The Authority as they took control of the soldier Nicholas Raine. Its concept of muscle cars within a desert setting was likely inspired by the Mad Max series.
