Red Dead Redemption 2 Soundtrack and Score Detailed

Red Dead Redemption 2 - Gamers Heroes
Rockstar Games has detailed the soundtrack and score that makes up Red Dead Redemption 2’s one-of-a-kind world.

The title features an interactive, dynamic score that was composed by Woody Jackson (L.A. Noire, Grand Theft Auto V). Additional production and arrangement was handled by Jeff Silverman, who is also known for Truth and Soul and Aloe Black.

His work is accompanied by contributions from more than 110 other musicians, including Duane Eddy (who is a Lee Hazlewood protégé), Arca (a frequent Bjork, Kanye West, Frank Ocean, and Kelela collaborator), Michael Shuman (also known as Mikey Shoes, of Queens of the Stone Age and Mini Mansions), Jon Theodore (former drummer of Mars Volta and current Queens of the Stone Age drummer), and others.

For the vocal moments of the game, production was handled by Grammy Award-winner Daniel Lanois. He is known for producing albums for Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and Willie Nelson, and has also closely worked with musician Brian Eno to help create a number of albums for U2.

All songs for both the score and soundtrack were created exclusively for Red Dead Redemption 2. More information regarding the official soundtrack release will be released soon.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can read our review here.
