Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Reaches New Levels Of Immersion With VR

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard News
Resident Evil is back and this time you can choose to experience it in VR. Resident Evil 7 looks to bring the series back to its roots(heard that one before) and change it up by making it first person. Check here to get more details on the upcoming survival horror game.

As stated above the game will take place in first person. This isn’t the first time the series has done this but it is the first time one of the numbered entries has done it. Powered by the new RE engine, Resident Evil 7 will bring the horror up close and personal this time around. Not sure how I feel about first person but I do know I really disliked resident Evil 6 so I’ll try it out. The demo was very PTish and that isn’t really a bad thing. This is the most excited I’ve been for a Resident Evil game since 4 was first shown.

The game takes place after the end of Resident Evil 6 in rural America. There is also a teaser you can play NOW(if you are a PS plus member) that leads into the game. The demo is titled as The Beginning Hour and you only have on objectives, make it out alive. This will give you a feel of what to expect when Resident Evil 7 comes out next year. The demo will be available on other platforms before the release.

We’ve heard this before but the gameplay systems have been refreshed to embody what gave made Resident Evil into Survival Horror. Resident Evil 7 is scheduled for release on PlayStation4 (the full gameplay experience will also be available via the included PlayStation®VR Mode), Xbox One and Windows PC on January 24, 2017.
