Resident Evil Village Gets Puppet Promo

The world of Capcom’s Resident Evil Village gets a lot more cute with the first puppet episode of the series.

The video, which can be seen below, features the Countess Alcina Dimitrescu as a singing puppet.

Serving as the next generation of survival horror for the series, Resident Evil Village will pay host to ultra-realistic graphics that are powered by the RE Engine. Note that the fan-favorite Mercenaries Mode will also return in this Resident Evil entry.

The story kicks off with the protagonist Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living peacefully in a new location, only to have BSAA captain Chris Redfield attack their home. With this new danger in sight, Ethan must set out to rescue his daughter from the evils that are out there.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PC via Steam, and Google Stadia on May 8, 2021.
