SaGa Frontier Remastered Gets Launch Trailer

Ahead of its release on April 15, Square Enix has released a gameplay launch trailer for SaGa Frontier Remastered.

The story of the game takes place over a wide variety of different regions, with each hero having their own story line. Its universe (dubbed “The Regions”) can be explored in a non-linear fashion through its Free Scenario System. As players dive into its turn-based battles, they can take advantage of the title’s Hirameki system to carry out combined attacks and gain new skills. Each battle features a variety of special skills, weapons, and magic spells that can be used in battle.

Originally released for the PlayStation 1 back in 1997, this JRPG features the new eighth protagonist Fuse, new tracks from Kenji Ito, and new scenes have been added to Asellus’s scenario that were not present in the original release. Other improvements include high-resolution graphics, an updated and improved UI, and a double-speed mode.
