Dive into an epic historical drama when Omega Force and Koei Tecmo’s Samurai Warriors 5 hits the battlefield on July 27, 2021.
This 1 vs. 1,000 tactical action game takes place after the end of the Ōnin War, right in the middle of the Sengoku period. Players will be able to follow the story of military commanders Nobunaga Oda and Mitsuhide Akechi as they experience different eras during this period.
All character designs have been completely redesigned and re-imagined, featuring 27 playable characters old and new. Joining the ranks aer Ieyasu Tokugawa, Hideyoshi Hashiba, Nō, and Yoshimoto Imagawa. The Kōga Ninja Mitsuki has also been added, and other new characters will be announced at a later date.
In addition to these characters, a number of new Musou actions have been added to Samurai Warriors 5. Newly designed Musou Frenzy Attacks are displayed in a vibrant new Japanese ink painting art style, designed to mirror a Sengoku period picture scroll.
