During yesterday’s X018 event, Rare and Microsoft Studios took a closer look at Sea of Thieves’ fifth free content since launch.
Called “The Arena,” this competitive game mode is set to come to Sea of Thieves in early 2019. Players will be able to compete against rival crews in a hunt to get the most treasure.

Sea of Thieves is an action-adventure cooperative multiplayer that gives players an open world to traverse. Players are able to collect coins by completing voyages, stealing loot from other ships, or raiding skeleton forts.
