Rare announced today that the Final Beta for Sea of Thieves will occur this weekend.
The Final Beta for “Sea of Thieves” is now available now. Running until 2am PT on Sunday (March 11), any interested players can now jump into Rare’s pirate adventure. This Final Beta serves as the culmination of the team’s Technical Alpha, Closed Beta, and Scale Test efforts.
In addition to the Gold Hoarders quests that were available in the Closed Beta, Merchant Alliance voyages are now available for the first time. These voyages will give players an entirely new way to play. Alongside this, pirates now have the chance to come across occupied Skeleton Forts, which will enable emergent gameplay opportunities.
Sea of Thieves will come out for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs on March 20, 2018.
