Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Development Update Released

Take a firsthand look at the next chapter in Senua’s journey with the latest development update for Ninja Theory and Xbox Game Studios’ Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.

Chief Creative at Ninja Theory Tameem Antoniades recently took to the screen for the latest development update for the game in Cambridge. He states that Hellblade is very special for the development team, and that they wanted to do something more than just a simple sequel.

Set in Iceland, the team has been sending art and audio teams out to that part of the world to help with the game. On the character front, they are building real costumes, scanning them in, and are collaborating with the team at Epic Games to bring the next generation of digital characters to life.

You can see a montage of the kind of work Ninja Theory has been up to with the video below:

Note that all game footage is a work in progress and has not been finalized.

Built for the new Xbox Series X, the game will be released at a later date.
