Shenmue I & II Trailer Looks at Combat and Mini Games

Shenmue I & II - Gamers Heroes
SEGA has released a new trailer for Shenmue I & II that takes a closer look at its combat and mini games.

The English voice of Ryo Hazuki, Corey Marshall, walks through combat systems and the different mini-games players can spend time with in the world in this deep dive. Players will be able to experience the very first Quick Time Events, ones that Shenmue introduced to the gaming world. Shenmue’s arcades also have fully working versions of all-time classic games, so you can try your hand at Space Harrier and other titles.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 21.

Casey Scheld has more than 15 years of experience in the gaming industry as a community manager, social media director, event specialist, and (of course) gaming editor. He has previously worked with gaming start-ups like Raptr, publishers like Konami, and roller derby girls at PAX West (check out Jam City Rollergirls)! Gamers Heroes is a passion project for him, giving him a chance to tap into the underground side of gaming. He is all too eager to give these lesser-known heroes of the indie space the attention they so rightly deserve, seeking out the next gem and sharing it with the world. Previously making appearances at events like CES, GDC, and (the late) E3, he is all too happy to seek out the next big thing.
