Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate Announced

Announced during NGPX today, Spike Chunsoft announced that Shiren The Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate will receive a port this year.

Originally released for the PlayStation Vita, Shiren The Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate is the fifth entry in the mainline Shiren The Wanderer series. In it, players will lead the titular Shiren The Wanderer and his sidekick Koppa as they set out to conquer the Tower of Fortune. There is a legend that the god of Destiny Reeva holds sway over the past, present, and future, which resides in this tower.

The title brings with it roguelike gameplay, which has players finding victory through defeat as they pick up new skills and strategies. The title will feature retro two dimensional graphics and a number of colorful characters that will guide players along on their quest. This title will also serve as an enhanced port, and will feature bonus dungeons that were not present in the original title.
