Sifu Behind-the-Scenes Fight Video Released

Learn more about how Sloclap’s Sifu approaches real-world Kung Fu combat with the latest behind-the-scenes video for the game.

The video for the game puts the spotlight on Creative Director Jordan Layani and Combat Choreographer Benjamin Colussi as they dive deep into combat realism as well as an authentic approach to culture. Proper fighting form and the feng shui of the Wuguan Chinese martial arts school have all been taken into account.

A collaborative effort between Sloclap and Colussi, this took place over the course of several months during early development. The protagonist’s movements are based around Colussi and his unique approach to Pak Mei Kung Fu in order to emphasize authenticity. Striking a balance between creativity and expertise, these partners have captured an action-packed perfect for the game.
