Bethesda Softworks has announced that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is now available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation VR.
Both of these versions of Skyrim (Skyrim VR and Skyrim on Nintendo Switch) include the Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn official add-ons.
The Nintendo Switch version of Skyrim includes the game, along with motion controls for combat and lockpicking. Outfits and gear from The Legend of Zelda series are also included, including additional loot unlocked from compatible The Legend of Zelda amiibo. With this gear, players can wield the Master Sword, protect themselves with the Hylian Shield, or don the Champion’s Tunic.
Skyrim VR for PlayStation VR, on the other hand, reimagines the entire game with a sense of scale, depth, and immersion with the system. A PlayStation VR The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR Bundle is now available for $449.99 USD, which includes the VR system, PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move controllers, and Skyrim VR.
