SNES Shmup Super Excidium Event Now Available
Just in time for Black Friday, Mega Cat Studios, Video Game Sage, and Reddit’s r/Retrogaming have released Super Excidium Event for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
A truly collaborative effort, Super Excidium Event is best described as “the SNES game that Reddit built.”
A 16-bit fixed-screen shmup, Super Excidium Event is an interstellar epic that serves as a throwback to the glory days of arcade gaming. Tasking players with soaring adcross perilous alien terrain and mastering its unique four-way weapons system, Super Excidium Event will have players trading shots with deadly swarms of enemies and bosses.
100% of Super Excidium Event’s profits will go directly to Child’s Play. Established more than 20 years ago by Penny Arcade creators Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkinsm this non-profit organization is dedicated to improving the lives of children in hospitals worldwide.
